LaterBox is a local-first app. We do not require an account and we do not operate a backend service for your library.

Data we collect

• We do not collect personal data such as your name, email address, location, contacts, or device identifiers.
• We do not track you across apps or websites.
• We do not sell your data.

Data stored on your device

LaterBox stores your content locally on your device, including:

• Saved URLs, titles, notes, tags, reading status, favorites
• Optional offline copies you choose to download

Network access

When you add a link, LaterBox may:

• Fetch link metadata (for example the page title) using Apple’s LinkPresentation framework
• Download page content if you choose Save Offline Copy

These requests go directly to the website you saved. Your library is not sent to our servers.

Clipboard access (optional)

If you enable Import From Clipboard, LaterBox may read your clipboard when the app becomes active only to detect web URLs and will ask before saving.
