STLLens is a local-first 3D model viewer for STL and OBJ files on iPhone and iPad. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app may access, how it is used, and when it may be shared.

2. Information We Access

STLLens may access the following information when you use the app:

• Files you choose to import from the Files app.
• Local copies of imported STL and OBJ files stored inside the app sandbox.
• Basic purchase status information if you buy or restore premium access.
• Diagnostic or configuration data if network-based services are enabled in a future build.
• Photos permission only when you explicitly choose to save a snapshot to your Photos library.

3. How We Use Information

We use the accessed information only to provide app functionality, including:

• opening and rendering imported model files;
• showing recent files and cached model information;
• saving local app state, such as onboarding and premium status;
• exporting snapshots you request;
• restoring purchases and verifying premium access.

4. Local File Handling

Imported model files are copied into the app's private local storage so they can be reopened later from the Recents list. These files stay on your device unless you explicitly share or delete them.
